DAN LOGUE: CHATHAM TOWN IS A CLUB WITH BIG AMBITION

This week the club announced the introduction of Chatham Town Women following approval from the National FA Council, the FA Women’s National League and the Kent FA.

As part of the transition, the club will also launch a brand-new Girls and Reserve Women Academy, providing a direct pathway to the Senior team.

Speaking on the news, Chatham Town Women Manger Dan Logue spoke of his excitement for what’s to come in the future.

“I’m really excited for this takeover with Chatham Town. It was a logical decision to bring it all under one roof, and it now means that we can be completely one team and one club.” He said.

“This will really benefit everyone – the players, the club, the pathway and the youngsters, so it just gives us all much more unity.

“For the team going forward, we’ve now got a solid base and foundation to build from. We can show potential new players, sponsors and investors that we’re under a club banner now, rather than being a nomadic team with no stability.

“Now we’re at a club that is very stable and secure. It’s a club that has big ambitions, as well as the ability to help us reach our own ambitions and the goals that we, as a team, want to achieve.” He finished.
