CTFC WOMEN ARE LOOKING FOR A STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING INTERN

Chatham Town Women are pleased to announce a job opportunity for a First Team Strength and Conditioning Intern.

CTFC, who play in Tier 3 of the women’s game, have an exciting opportunity for an undergraduate/postgraduate student to join our coaching team as a Strength and Conditioning Intern.

The role will provide the successful candidate with experience in a semi-professional female football setting, training with and being mentored by experienced and knowledgeable coaches, and plenty of opportunity for continued personal development and support.

To be eligible, you must be able to commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week covering evenings and weekends between 15th July 2023 and 4th May 2024. Placements can be extended beyond this.

About the Candidate:

• Professional, organised and polite aspiring coach

• An interest in high performance training, sports science and strength and conditioning

• Prior experience with free weight training and general athletic movements

• Must be able to complete tasks at the request of the Head Physio and Management Team

• Currently undertaking or enrolled on an undergraduate/postgraduate degree in a sports science-related field

• Living a commutable distance from Chatham Town FC

• You must have access to your own mode of transport and your own laptop

• Have some previous experience with, or knowledge of, performance analysis processes
