CHATS SIGN SID NELSON

Chatham Town are delighted to confirm the signing of Sid Nelson from Farnborough this afternoon.

The 28-year old central defender has racked up almost 100 football league appearances, including a promotion to League One with Tranmere Rovers.

He spent time at Woking in the National League before making the switch to Farnborough last summer.

Sid now joins up with Kevin Hake’s men, providing extra strength in depth to our defensive department.

He comes into contention to face Margate FC at the Bauvill Stadium this afternoon.
