CHATS LAUNCH COMMUNITY HOUR

CHATS LAUNCH COMMUNITY HOUR

Following the success of the first two weeks, Chatham Town Football Club is proud to continue its Chats Community Hour initiative, bringing players, staff, Academy students and volunteers together every Thursday to give something back to the local community.

Running each Thursday, the initiative is dedicated to making a positive difference across the town through simple but meaningful actions. From litter picking and street clean-ups to improving shared community spaces, the hour is focused on creating visible change in the areas that matter most to local residents.

This week’s Community Hour was proudly supported by Arriva, who joined the club in the initiative as the group continued their work across the community.

In just a short space of time, the project has already made an impact in several areas including Kitchener Avenue, the White Road Estate, Bournville Avenue, Palmerston Park and Magpie Hall Road. With each week, the club hopes to reach new locations and continue building momentum behind the initiative.

Chatham Town is now encouraging local residents, volunteers and businesses to get involved and take part in future Community Hours. Whether it’s lending a helping hand, representing a local organisation, or simply giving back to the town, the club believes the more people who participate, the bigger the difference that can be made.

The next location will be announced soon, and the club is welcoming suggestions from the community on where support could be most beneficial.
