ACADEMY PLAYER JOSHUA SHONOWO HEADS FOR USA

Chatham Town are pleased to confirm that Academy player, Joshua Shonowo, has been made an offer to join University of the District of Columbia in Washington, USA.

The 17-year old has been part of the Chatham Scholarship for two years, featuring prominently in the Tactic League and National Youth Alliance.

Able to play as a right-back, central midfielder or a winger, Joshua offers strong versatility across the pitch.

Taking a keen interest in football coaching as well, Joshua will join a 4-year course in the USA where he will either study ‘Administration of Justice’, ‘Sports Law’ or ‘Sports Management’.

The opportunity provides the perfect platform for Joshua to balance his studies alongside his footballing goals, and for that we are all wishing him the very best in his endeavours.
