Match Report | vs Sittingbourne
The Chats were looking for back to back wins after a win against Corinthian, Sittingbourne themselves off the back of two wins were looking to cause somewhat of an upset. Both had their fair share of possession within the early game however it was the link up play between Sotoyinbo and Orji which won a corner and brought the best chance of the half. Joey Taylor whipped in the corner for Simon Cooper to head home and put the Chats in the lead. Despite Sittingbournes best efforts to equalise, they failed to break down the Chats defence and they went into the break behind.
Chats came out fast causing Sittingbourne some problems with high amounts of pressure applied but shortly after, Sittingbourne found themselves with a corner of their own which was whipped into the head of Joe Ellul who made no mistake. With both teams failing to break the deadlock, the points were shared.
